Transformers Insignias

Hello, fellow deviants! I'm back again with another piece of hand drawn work.

Above, as you can see, I drew a few symbols from the Tranformers franchise. The two on top are, obviously, the Autobot and Decepticon insignias. I did not trace them, per se. I was looking at pictures of them I found online as I drew them. Trust me, without the visual aid, they would've turned out much (emphasis on MUCH) worse. Though even with the aid, I was still eyeballing everything as far as measurements go for each piece, so they're still not perfect.

The one on the bottom, however, is 100% mine. The bottom insignia is my own interpretation of what the Autobot and Decepticon insignias would look like combined. My insignia was actually fun and easy to do, since I had a lot more freedom with the dimensions. I did almost forget the eyes at one point, but once I remembered, I noticed the Autobot symbol has 5 sides to its eyes, and the Decepticon symbol has 3 sides to its own. With that in mind, I decided to give my combo symbol 4 sides to the eyes, giving them the inward slant of the Decepticon insignia in the process. A reason I went with a high number of pieces was to make drawing easier (big chunks=harder to get measurements right), though in doing so, it turned out more Autobotty than Decepticonish. All in all, I do like how it came out, though.

During the drawing process, I ended up erasing several parts several times, which the scanner I used picked up, so I had some cleaning up to do there. Before I scanned it in, I decided to make the lines bolder using an old charcoal pencil I kept from my high school drawing class (lacking an ink pen I felt would be proper, I made do), and I feel it looks better than if I left it with just thin pencil lines.

Before I wrap this up, anyone got a good name for my insignia? Best I can come up with at the moment are either Auto-con or Decepti-bot. XP
